Q: Beach Vacation?
Summer time is here...some of us are planning a beach vacation. Besides the obvious of playing on the beach...what are you going to do on your vacation? What beach are you visiting for your vacation?

A: I'm heading to Jamaica in August...so I'm looking forward to time on the beach as well! When I booked my trip with Spirit Vacations, they had a page on their site that listed good nightlife recommendations...so I'm thinking we'll hit the beach during the day and the clubs at night!

Q: Any suggestions for a beach vacation on the Atlantic Coast, and experiences you have had there?
My youngest is going to College in the fall, as am I. We want to vacation on a beach and have been to Daytona, Myrtle Beach, and Virginia Beach. We'd like to try someplace different.

A: Myrtle Beach is byfar the best. Lots of activities. Virginia Bch is more of a military town because of all the bases close by.

Q: What do you look for when planing a Myrtle Beach vacation?
If you were planning a vacation to Myrtle Beach, what would you look for and what resources would you use?

Q: Where is the best place to visit of a Romantic Beach Vacation?
My boyfriend and I are planning on taking a vacation somewhere warm in August or September. Maybe Cozumel, Caribbean somewhere like that. Any suggestions on a nice romantic destination and hotel? I was thinking of a cruise but I'm pretty skeptical about being stuck on a ship for 4 days! I want to enjoy to sand, beach shore and sun! Any advice? (We have already been to Cancun)

A: Petit St. Vincent is a 113 acre private island in the Caribbean. This is a beach resort that is perfect for couples who want to spend their vacation time alone with each other. Q: "what is the best beach vacation for first week of january where the weather is hot and sunny in North America?
I need to find a place to relax at beach with sunny & hot/warm weather in first week of January. does anyone out there knows a good place to go. prefer north america, but open to suggestion for mexico. I don't have very high budget, just need to relax and release some stress. I appreciate any good suggestion from your personal experience. I searched internet for many vacation deals, but got very confused. thanks.

Q: Can you recommend a great family beach vacation?
Family is looking to go on vacation to the beach next summer. Anyone have suggestions? We have looked at Emerald Isle, NC, Seaside FL, Reddington Beach FL, Indian Rocks FL, or Tybee Island GA.

A: I spent a year in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida and I loved it. The beaches are clean, gorgeous, and go on forever. The fishing is also outstanding there. Book a charter or bring the whole family on one of the 'party boats' they have for red snapper fishing. We always caught plenty of fish. Then you can bring your fish to some restaurants in Destin and they'll prepare it for you. Ft. Walton Beach and Destin has nice restaurants, nightlife, a fishing pier, a great beach with beach activities like body surfing, kiteboarding, dolphin cruises, booze cruises, fishing, etc... It's a lot of fun.

Q: I want to go on a cheap island / beach vacation, any suggestions?
I am planning on going on a trip this summer to an island or beach for vacation. I want to go somewhere with a good exchange rate, cheap rooms, cheap food but still very nice. I was thinking about Bali or mabye Rio de Janiero?

A: I would suggest any of the beach destinations in Thailand, Indonesia or philippines.U should seriously consider thailand though because U can find accomodation of any sort(5 star to budget)and the exchange rate is quiet good(especially if its from USD it should be awesome for u, U can find a wide variety of cuisine and the beaches are gorgeous.

Q: Where to go for an exotic beach vacation?
I want to go away for a week or two to an exotic locale to celebrate graduating college. I was thinking to go to Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, or Cuba? Can anyone recommend a really nice please to go for exotic tropical beach vacation, preferably with lots of nice fun sexy people?

A: Boracay Beach or Palawan in the Philippines. There are many other less known nice eco resorts scattered throughout the archipelago. Definitely the most bang for your $ in Asia.

Q: Where is a cheap yet amazing beach vacation location from Istanbul?
Somewhere outside of Turkey please? A beach vacation for a couple and yea we dont really have big budget for this! ;P

A: If I understand correctly, you want to go somewhere from Istanbul, but not in Turkey? Well, why not try the Croatian coast?

Q: Has anyone been on vacation in Clearwater Beach Florida?
I went a long time ago and I remember the beach being soo beautiful and the sand being gorgeous. Im planning a vacation for me and my bf for a short stay there. We went to Miami last year so we don't need the glitz and glam and party life. We just wanted a quiet beach vacation with one or two bars we could go to at night. Anybody recommend Clearwater? Or not recommend it? If you do recommend it- what activities to do? Places to see? Thanks!

A: Its a great beach, I live a few minutes away from it. But if you want a nicer beach try Ana Maria Island near Bradenton, FL. They have several beach houses that give you a nicer view of the ocean. Clearwater is great though. It also depends the amount of people you want around you honestly, Clearwater is usually packed where as Ana Maria is more calmed and private.

Q: Best Affordable Beach Vacation for a couple?
Please let me know your best beach vacation you had with your honey. I live on the east coast but I am looking for somewhere to go where it is very affordable to stay and fly to and fun/romantic enough for my boyfriend and I. Thanks!

A: I would check out your state park....usually they have some good deals for cabins/houses that are far cheaper than renting someone else's house or staying in a hotel....and they are private and in a state park. Q: What should I bring on my beach vacation?
My boyfriend and I are going to Destin Florida for our one year aniverary together. I've never been on a vacation alone before( I'm 19) , and cant really come up with anything to bring other than a beach bag , towls, sunscreen, and ice chest.

A: don't forget your sunglasses, hats, swimwear, something to read, a nice flipflops, your IpoD maybe - and plenty of your energies and excitement. that would be enough for a nice beach vacation.

Q: City/hotel recommendations for mid-north Florida or south Georgia beach vacation?
I live in Jacksonville,Florida and I want to take a 3-4 day mini on the beach vacation. Preferrably within 3 hours from home. I want to stay on the beach and we are a young couple so a plaace with good restaurants and bars in walking distance would be nice. Any ideas? (Not Daytona) =)

Q: Students want to go down south for a beach vacation, but where?
Hi, Three friends and I want to go down south for a beach vacation at an all inclusive resort. Where is a good place that would be cheapest on air fare? We would be flying out of Toronto, On. Also what is a non-busy time to go south?

A: 1) San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua 2) Placencia, Belize, 3) Roatan, Honduras, 4) Anywhere in Costa Rica, 5) Playa el Cuco, El Salvador. Best time to go: Probably NOT right before or right after Christmas or Easter. Best airlines: TACA is recommended, but you should really get on Expedia.com and see the best deal. Also, go to GOOGLE.COM and go to "IMAGES" and look up the above mentioned places and see what you like. You can find out about resort/hotel/dining information on Google as well. When it comes to travel, Google has been, is, and always will be my best friend!

Q: Virginia Beach or Myrtle Beach - Which is better for two friends on vacation?
A friend and I are looking to go on a beach vacation on the east coast (we live on the west side) around Labor Day this year, and have heard both VA beach and Myrtle Beach are good options. Which would you recommend? We mostly just want to relax and have fun on the beach during the day - do some typical touristy things - but be able to have a decent night life available to us as well.

A: Myrtle Beach...I used to live there and went to college there and now I live in VA and let me tell you that Myrtle Beach has the better nightlife and will be warmer. Around labor day it can be a little chilly in VA. Good luck and have fun!
